Returns Policy

Orders within the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA) may be returned within 14 days in their original condition (unworn, unwashed and with all tags attached). Personalised or individually name-/number-printed items are excluded from return.

For orders placed by customers with their residence outside the EU/EEA, no statutory right of withdrawal applies. As a voluntary service, we may accept returns within 14 days of receipt of the goods, provided the goods are in their original condition (unworn, unwashed and with all tags attached) and the customer has requested a return in advance and this request has been confirmed by us. Returns are made at the customer’s own cost and risk; customs duties, import charges and shipping costs will not be refunded.

For orders delivered outside the EU/EEA, German law applies. Any customs, import duties or local regulatory requirements are the sole responsibility of the customer. No claim to local consumer protection legislation of the destination country shall apply.

In addition, we offer a voluntary 30-day return policy, provided that the goods:

• are unworn and unused,
• are in initial condition,
• have all original tags attached, and
• are returned in the original packaging.

The statutory right of withdrawal remains unaffected by this.

Exclusions from Withdrawal / Returns

The following products are excluded from withdrawal and return (except in the case of incorrect delivery or defects caused by or attributable to Football Shirts Retail GmbH):

• Personalised items (e.g. individually name-/number-printed shirts), provided they have been delivered as ordered,
• Sealed audio or video recordings and computer software, once the seal has been broken after delivery,
• Newspapers, magazines or periodicals,
• Gift vouchers.

How to Return an Item

1. Please contact us in advance by e-mail at support@footballshirts.com and submit a return request.
2. Once we have reviewed your request, you will receive a return label and a return form by e-mail. For consumers with their residence outside the EU/EEA, no return label can be issued. It is the consumer’s responsibility to arrange shipment with a carrier of their choice. The consumer bears the shipping risk.
3. Please indicate on the return form which items you wish to return (including quantity and reason) and enclose the form with your parcel.
4. Pack the goods carefully in the original packaging and send the parcel back to us using the provided return label.
5. Return shipping costs:
   • In the event of damaged or defective goods or incorrect delivery, Football Shirts Retail GmbH will bear the cost of return shipping within the EU/EEA.
   • In the case of withdrawal, voluntary return or exchange without defect, the buyer bears the return shipping costs; these may be deducted from the refund.
   • For returns from outside the EU/EEA, the buyer bears all return shipping costs. Any customs duties, taxes and fees are non-refundable.
6. Once we have received and inspected the returned goods, the refund will be issued within 10 business days to the original method of payment.

Right of Withdrawal (EU/EEA)

The consumer has the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which the customer or a third party designated by the customer, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the goods.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must inform Football Shirts Retail GmbH, Cuxhavener Str. 7, 28217 Bremen, Germany, e-mail: support@footballshirts.com, by means of a clear statement (e.g. by e-mail or by post) of their decision to withdraw from this contract.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for the customer to send the communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired. Returning goods without an explicit and unambiguous declaration of withdrawal does not constitute a valid withdrawal. The consumer is required to clearly and unequivocally declare the withdrawal (e.g. by e-mail or by post).

Effects of Withdrawal

If the customer withdraws from this contract, Football Shirts Retail GmbH shall reimburse all payments received from the customer, including delivery costs (except for any additional costs resulting from the customer’s choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we receive notice of the withdrawal from this contract.

The refund will be made using the same means of payment as used by the customer for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise; in no event will the customer be charged any fees in connection with such refund.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until the customer has supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earlier.

The customer shall send back or hand over the goods without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which they informed Football Shirts Retail GmbH of their decision to withdraw from this contract, to the address indicated above. The deadline is met if the customer dispatches the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

Unless the return is due to an error on our part, the customer shall bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

The customer shall only be liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Note: Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal

Pursuant to Section 312g (2) of the German Civil Code (BGB), no right of withdrawal exists for distance contracts concerning:

• goods that are not prefabricated and for the production of which an individual choice of or decision by the customer is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the customer (this includes in particular customised items such as shirts with requested name/number printing, personalised names/numbers or special prints),
• shirts with correct original player printing, provided they have been delivered as ordered,
• used items (vintage / retro / matchworn) that are clearly identified as such,
• sealed goods which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene and which were unsealed after delivery,
• sealed audio or video recordings or computer software which were unsealed after delivery,
• newspapers, periodicals or magazines, with the exception of subscription contracts.

The right of withdrawal does not apply if the customer is an entrepreneur within the meaning of Section 14 BGB, i.e. a natural or legal person or a partnership with legal capacity acting in the exercise of their commercial or self-employed professional activity when entering into the legal transaction.

Complaints / Defective Goods

In the event of a complaint (e.g. defective, damaged or incorrectly delivered items), please send us an e-mail containing:

• the order number,
• your full name and address,
• photos of the affected item, and
• a brief description of the defect.
