When supporters group The Backline unveiled a giant Man in Black TIFO at Nashville SC's very first MLS match in 2020, the seed for a collaboration was planted. Dubbed the Man in Black Kit, the all-black design with silver and graphite accents draws directly from Cash's legendary aesthetic. As is tradition in MLS, Nashville SC wore this shirt across two seasons, with club icon Hany Mukhtar leading the line as top scorer in 2023, finishing the season with 17 goals across all competitions as Nashville reached the playoffs for the fourth consecutive year.
