The adidas Saint-Étienne 2009/10 Away Shirt arrived at a club in transition, carrying a squad of future stars through one of the most turbulent seasons in recent memory at Stade Geoffroy-Guichard. Les Verts finished 17th in Ligue 1, winning just 10 of their 38 games , yet the names on the teamsheet told a different story about what was coming. Blaise Matuidi was named club captain early in the campaign , while Dimitri Payet appeared in 35 league matches, scoring two goals and providing six assists.
