Under new head coach Thomas Tuchel, PSG opened the season by winning their first 14 league games, a new Ligue 1 record, before Kylian Mbappé sealed the title with a hat-trick against Monaco in April. Neymar, despite injury disruptions, became the fastest player in Ligue 1 history to reach 50 goals in the competition, doing so in just 58 matches.
