Size

Kappa football shirts traditionally have a slimmer fit. This is especially true for early versions of the brand’s Kombat shirts from the 2000s and 2010s, as well as modern Kombat Pro versions that still feature the marquee stretch element. Kombat shirts, equivalent to Stadium or Replica shirts, are cut more generously, have a regular fit, and do not require sizing up. Measurements are approximate and may vary by club, product type, and production year.

The Kappa SSC Napoli 2017/18 Fourth Shirt arrived mid-season wearing the identity of a side that looked, briefly, like it might end Juventus's stranglehold on Italian football. Called the Kombat Karbon, it carries a geometric texture in shades of grey that mimics the look of carbon fibre, with a honeycomb print in a lighter grey providing contrast on the flanks and lower back. Napoli set a new club record of 91 points in Serie A that season, yet it was only enough for second place behind Juventus. Dries Mertens led the attack with 18 Serie A goals and 22 in all competitions, while Marek Hamšík, wearing this shirt, surpassed Diego Maradona as Napoli's all-time top scorer in December 2017, netting his 116th goal for the club against Sampdoria.
