The Nike FC Barcelona 2014/15 Home Shirt arrived carrying the colours of a squad about to make history. The season became one of the most successful in the club's history, as Barcelona clinched its second continental treble after winning La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the UEFA Champions League. The success was in large part attributed to their formidable attacking trio of Lionel Messi, Neymar and summer signing Luis Suárez, who scored a record 122 goals in all competitions to become the trio with most goals in a single season in Spanish football history. Messi racked up 58 goals and 23 assists across the campaign, while Suárez scored 25 goals in 43 games, an especially remarkable figure considering he didn't even start until late October. The shirt itself features bolder and wider stripes than its predecessor in deeper tones of red and blue, alongside a unique relaxed blue collar showcasing the Senyera flag in the open V-neck, marking the first time the Catalan flag appeared on the front of the club's shirt.
