The Umbro Werder Bremen 2018/19 Away Shirt arrived as the first kit Umbro produced for the Green-Whites after taking over as technical partner, and it made an immediate impression. Dark blue with black raglan sleeves, the design carries a subtle yarn-dye horizontal stripe across the body, giving the fabric a textured, almost woven quality that sets it apart from the era's standard polyester templates. The 2018/19 season saw Florian Kohfeldt's side finish eighth in the Bundesliga, just one point shy of Europa League qualification, with captain Max Kruse directly involved in 20 league goals. This particular shirt bears the name of Ole Käuper, a Bremen-born midfielder who came through the club's own academy and wore the number 14 during his time in the first-team squad.
