The Umbro England 2012 Home Shirt carries a quiet kind of weight: it was the last England shirt Umbro ever made, closing out a partnership that stretched back to 1954 and included the 1966 World Cup. Stripped of the traditional blue trim for the first time, the design draws entirely from the St George's flag, with a vermillion red crest and matching Umbro double diamond replacing the familiar blue of previous jerseys. The single-button placket collar, with its layered red stripe bands visible when worn up, was a direct nod to Sir Alf Ramsey's iconic 1966 jacket.
