A commemorative "30 May 1999" date is printed inside the neckline , honouring the penalty shoot-out win over Gillingham that changed the club's trajectory forever. De Bruyne announced his departure from City in April 2025, leaving as one of the most decorated players in the club's history with 16 major trophies. Over his decade at the club, he set up 177 goals in total, with 119 Premier League assists placing him second only to Ryan Giggs in the all-time list.
