Clube de Regatas do Flamengo

Flamengo was founded in 1895 in Rio de Janeiro and started as a successful rowing club for its first sixteen years. In 1911, some unhappy players from Fluminense joined to create the football section. Since 1950, the club has played at the famous Maracanã stadium, which is a big deal in Brazil because it's where the most popular and supported team in the country plays.

The nickname "Mengão" refers to a golden time in the late 1970s and early 1980s, when the team was led by the famous player Zico. During this time, they won three state titles in a row, their first national league title in 1980, and also won the Copa Libertadores and the Intercontinental Cup in 1981.

The club is famous for its "Rubro-Negro" identity, defined by its classic red and black horizontal stripes. Boasting a record 39 state championships and having developed world-class talents like Zico and Júnior, Flamengo remains a global powerhouse and a symbol of Brazilian passion, continuing its continental dominance with recent Libertadores titles in 2019 and 2022.

adidas

Before the modern kit industry existed, there was adidas. Founded in 1949 by Adolf "Adi" Dassler in Herzogenaurach, Germany, adidas built its football legacy from the ground up — starting with a boot innovation that changed the game forever. Today, the Three Stripes are worn by the clubs that make headlines, the nations that make history, and the players who make it unforgettable.
